I need help to set up the scan on my computer, i get always the code error smb 031-530
I have not seen any announcements that they no longer support the 6027, but I haven't seen any resolution or even a suggestion for my scanner issues with the new driver and Big Sur in almost 3 months, and it took them 5 months to issue a Big Sur "compatible" driver that does not work properly for me. I am moving on.
Well. Guess Xerox no longer supports the 6027 so I guess I can no longer support Xerox. Very disappointing. Buying another competitive brand that has a better reputation for support.
I am still having issues with the new driver. I have removed all driver files and reinstalled them, uninstalled and reinstalled printer in OS, etc. to no avail. Printing works. Scanning is terrible slow and the ICA scanner driver crashes after every scan. Please see my other posts in this forum.
after installing the driver during printing, it stops printing and does not complete the job. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. Printing works for a maximum of one day, after which the problem reappears. Other colleagues do not have this problem. The operating system on the macbook is current Big Sur 11.2.3
I installed the driver yesterday. Though I can now scan from Printers and Scanners in System Preferences, I still can no longer import a scan in Preview, getting a "Scanner Not Available" message. No scanner available in Adobe Photoshop either. Secondly, when a scan completes using the scanner from System Preferences/Printers & Scanners/Scan/Open Scanner, Workcentre 6027 ICA driver quits unexpectedly.
I am using macOS 11.2.3, Scanner driver 1.150. Wireless connection.
Glad to hear you have scanning on Xerox 6027. I posted here concerning WC3225 and Scan Assistant and that post should have gone to another message board… Sorry about that-- I am reposting to the correct WC3225 discussion.
BTW: Xerox has flatly told me that they will not support SCAN ASSISTANT for MAC 64 bit for Catalina and Big Sur. unbelieveable -- glad you guys have scan support for your 6027 equipment. (Wonder if it would work with my WC3225?? Well I'll try it!)
Unfortunately this kind of service/support from Xerox means they've lost me and my associates/family as customers forever. Too bad as their products are good.
