Re: Scanning more than one page to NetApp SMB share fails

Update one, test, if all good, update all. That firmware ending in 34540 just has issues, no settings will be lost by the update.

Odd he would choose an older firmware to install.

Bring one of them up to the latest firmware via this here tool, if it resolves the matter, go ahead with the 2nd one.

It wont wipe your settings

Scanning more than one page to NetApp SMB share fails

Jump to solution
Product Name: Other - specify product in post

This is a really odd problem that started after we upgraded to a NetApp filer running CDOT. We have 3 scanners, two 7535's and one 7855. All use workflow scanning to the same SMB share on the same filer. The two 7535's work fine. The 7855 works fine for single page scans. Anything larger than that errors out with "The job was deleted; conflicting job settings; invalid path specified".

Things I have already tried/checked:

Scanning an 11x17 schematic fails but a nearly blank 11x17 succeeds.

One 8.5x11 doc succeeds but two or more pages of the same fails.

Confirmed that the clocks on the filer, scanner and A/D server are all in sync.

Scanning and template settings on all three systems are equivalent.

The firmware was recently upgraded by a Xerox technician to 072.040.145.05000
