I recently downloaded the new driver and firmware for my Phaser 8560MFP. Initially, it slowed the print function on my MacBook Pro down and had no impact on scanning. In discussion with Xerox help, I deleted the printer then re-added it and it works fine as a printer. Now, however, the scanner doesn't work. The scanner sees my computer in the window underneath Scan to "Public Folder" but when I attempt to scan, the Xerox Scan Utility reports an error - it cannot connect to device - "ensure the IP address /DNS name configured in the Print Centre is correct. What is the Print Centre? It seems to be correct but am I looking in the wrong place? Weird that it can print readily over the Airport Extreme network but not see it for scanning purposes.
