Thank you for using the Support Forum. Yes you can enter individual e-mail addresses from the control panel of the machine. They would not have to be in the address book. Please see these instructions for sending an e-mail on the WorkCentre 3315/3325 and these instructions for the WorkCentre 6505. I hope you find this information helpful for answering your question. I'm looking to buy a standalone multifunction with scan to email capabilities.
I'm considering the Xerox workcentre 3315/3325 or 6505. However, from reading the manuals of these printers, it seems that you can only scan to an email address that is already in the address book of the machine.
Is it possible to add a new address or scan to any arbitrary email address from within the interface of the printer? (WITHOUT using the web management or Xerox software)
