Hi again!
According to the manual, 031-529 is reffering to an invalid password.

Hi Kimzi,
I tried using the shared folder "Scans" as the Shared Directory. I've also tried using my IP Address instead of the DNS name. I'm still getting the same error. Does the 031-529 error occur because the username/password information is incorrect, or because the folder isn't shared properly? I'm trying to narrow down the issues but there is very little support for this issue.
Thanks!
Jeremy
Hey you!
Did you share the Scans folder or the Users folder?
If you shared the Scans folder, thats what should be in the shared directory, if you shared the Users folder you should have Users in the shared directory and Scans in Sub path.
Also try changing to the PC's IP-Address if it does not work.
Best Regards

I'm setting up a new Xerox WorkCentre 6015NI and I'm running into trouble with scanning to a PC on the network.
I've set up a folder in the Users directory called Scans and shared it with Everyone.
Here is my setup in CentreWare Internet Services:
The computer is part of a domain, but the user 'jeremy' is a local user - per a request I've seen elsewhere on this forum.
After various settings adjustments I'm still gettin an SMB error: 031-529 Login Failed
What does this error mean? What could be causing it? Anything else I can try to resolve this?
Thanks in advance!
