Scanning to WorkFlow Question on Xerox 7855

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I'm a newbie to the Xerox family.  My employer just deployed the 7855 in all of our locations.  We use the WorkFlow Scanning feature to capture paper documents to create paperless images.  We are having problems with a mixed batches of 11x8.5 and 8.5x14 paer, with different orientations.

 

For originals that include both portrait letter and landscape legal documents be combined by the machine so that the combined image is only in the portrait mode?
