Re: Scanning to lossless TIFF

Hello User8291,

I searched our online knowledgebase and found the specifications on Scanning and the max resolution is 600x600. For more information regarding Tiff, I would recommend speaking with a Product Specialist at 1-800-821-2797.

Thanks,

Scanning to lossless TIFF

Product Name: VersaLink C7020/C7025/C7030 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Not Applicable

I'm trying to scan some photos with C7020 and need them to be of high quality for printing. I normally (with other devices) scan to uncompressed TIFF (or lossless TIFF). C7020 does not seem to offer any way to adjust TIFF quality but instead always uses JPEG compression resulting in fairly poor quality image. For example, 600DPI scan of 4x6 photo results in just 600kB TIFF file.

Am I somehow able to alter the image compression and thus scan quality images with this device, or am I limited to such a poor quality?
