We have a WorkCenter 6505DN and our Dean is using it to convert our paper copies of docs to electronic copies. In her previous office, their Ricoh machine allowed a stack of multiple documents in the ADF with a colored sheet between docs. The scanning software recognized the presence of the colored sheet and combined the last couple of scans (since the last colored sheet) into a single doc and then continued on through the whole ADF stack. A stack of 50 sheets in the ADF may actually be 15 documents of varying page lengths. Is this a function that the 6505 can do, also? If not, Is there some compatible software add-in that can do this auto-detect?
