This solution does not work for me !
when I reach the prompt command I have noted that the on screen IP4 address is different but despite repeated trying I cannot actually change it to the correct one using these instructions

I'm attempting to set up a new SMB contact, but I keep receiving a Error (18-505) : SMB-DOS protocol error 1-005. From what I can tell this means that the password that I'm entering in the new SMB contact data field is wrong. I'm positive that the password that I'm entering is the password that's associated with the email/account that I use to log into my Windows 11 account. I've even tried using no password and that doesn't work.
I know that the IPv4 address is correct and I've enabled the sharing fucntions on the "Xerox Scans" folder that the scans are set to be delivered to. Does anyone know what I can do to troubleshoot this?
