Re: Setting up new VersaLink C505 with O35F1 account to perform Scan to internal email addresses

Hello ronsmat,

I don't know the answer to your question, however, I did find these 3 videos that may help you with some of the set up:

Xerox® WorkCentre® 6515, Xerox® VersaLink® B and C Series Scan to Email

Xerox® VersaLink® B and C Series Devices Scan to Email

Xerox® VersaLink® Setting Up Scanning to an Email Address

Setting up new VersaLink C505 with O35F1 account to perform Scan to internal email addresses

Product Name: VersaLink C505 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

Hi guys

I recently purchased a Xerox Versalink C505 for a small business operation. The organization is connected via PFsense to the internet.

The organization is in the Microsoft 365 Business platform for all their accounts. An O365 F1 license was associated with a mailbox for this printer. We are trying to setup the printer to perform the following functions:

- Perform scan to email (to internal addresses only) - I have tried to use option 2 mentioned in the Microsoft article Does this printer require to be assigned a static IP/DHCP reservation? When i try to scan to an internal email address it gives a message saying successful but no email in INBOX or the SPAM folder. I think there is an issue with the SMTP relay function. Thoughts?

- Perform Scan to folder (to default to the One Drive account associated with the printer) Is this possible?

- Perform internal email address lookup from the organization's Global Address List: Is this possible using the organizations Azure AD P1 account to perfom GAL quries via LDAD/LAPD Secure?

Thank you for the assist
