We just recieved a new Xerox, and we lost our fax numbers on the confirmation, and they are only showing the CSID.
We had a nice rep figure it out with our old 5755 by supplying us with a feature code that replaced the CSID on the remote station and actually showed the numbers. The person I talked to last week said there was nothing we could do but ask the people we are faxing to change their CSID, which isn't practical.
Anyone know how to get a hold of a rep who knows what feature codes are available? We have a B8055.
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for setting up the fax report defaults and see if you can find the setting you want in those menus. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
When a fax transmission occurs, the CSID (receiving fax machine’s information) is transmitted to the sending machine. This information can be used in confirmation pages and fax logs.
This requires an adjustment in Diagnostics to be changed so that the device is forced to display the dialed number.
Only Xerox certified Service Technicians are able to access and make the necessary changes in this mode.
