On top of enea recommendation you might want also to check:

  • Make sure the account you configure the Xerox device with is a valid mailbox account
  • Try configure the smtp settings with a ip address instead of using hostname.
  • Try sending an email to the same address used on the Xerox device.

Smtp Error Xerox 6400X

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I am attempting to setup the stmp for scan to email but no matter what I try it does not work. The error I receive is One or more of the addresses are invalid.Any suggestions?

 

Settings I am using

smtp.gmx.com port 25

User name and password of email address
