Stuck on "Scanning your Job"

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

The copy function will not let me copy, the start button is grayed out. On the upper left of the touch screen there is a message reading "Scanning your job."

I have to power cycle the MFP to get it to allow copying again. Firmware is up to date (version 111) and the power is stable. Any idea what could be wrong?
