Re: TWAIN scan through network

If the documents aren't being scanned on the device, it may be that the Remote Start feature isn't enabled on the device.

The SA would need to go to the device's web interface, Go to the Properties tab, and go under Apps/Workflow Scanning/Remote Start (TWAIN) and enable it there.

I hope this helps.

Re: TWAIN scan through network

Thank you but I already had used the link you provided and installed it.

I try to explain what I need to do in order to make it clearer.

Let's say that I want to import an image into Irfan View after I installed those driver using WorkCentre as source image.

Is it possible, using network connection, to do that or I have to connect our MFP onyl via USB to retrieve scans using TWAIN protocol?

Re: TWAIN scan through network

Hi Kaika313,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. You can find the TWAIN driver here. Install the Twain driver on the PC.  Not knowing what program you are using i really can't offer any other instructions.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

TWAIN scan through network

Product Name: WorkCentre 7830i/7835i/7845i/7855i
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Hi,

we have a Xerox 7830 connected to the network. We need to use the TWAIN driver in order to get scans from software that require this driver. The problem is that we don't understand how to properly install it and make Windows connect to it. Is it possible to do this or for network scanning only SMB and FTP are possible?

Thank you

K
