I have the same device with the same version of firmware and just recently (past month) have been unable to connect to the O365 mail server. Does this version (073.060.075.34540) support TLS 1.2? Microsoft no longer support TLS 1.0.
It appears to be completely unauthentcated and no encryption of any kind (port 25) for both.
Which would imply the server is using a relay, or some other means of authentication, that may have been set up for one printer and not the other.
It also may be because one is registered on the domain and the other is not.
Besides the email settings, there are also the connection settings, Gateway and DNS should match, and the 3655 should have IPv6 preferred unchecked in its DNS settings.
Failing that, install Wireshark, do a trace (see below), try a scan, stop the trace after it fails and open it up in Wireshark and filter for SMTP to see what's up.
Hello how are you
Thank you very much for your answer
However I have the next printer Xerox Phaser 3635 at the same location and with the same configuration and the scanning to email functionality is working perfectly
System Software Version: | 20.107.01.000 |
The mail server is a corporate mail server which works perfectly Globally in our Organization, so the telnet is not working because that is a secure mail server.
May you let me know if from Xerox side there is something else!
The server either doesn't exist or its down, because it can't be telneted or pinged.
And the email address you are using resolves to this:
