Hello John,

The cartridges that come with a new device are starter cartridges and are not the same volume as the purchased cartridges. Also, you would have to clear any errors before being able to scan unfortunately.

Toner Cart empty. MFP won't scan?

Product Name: Xerox B225 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

Recenty bought this MFP and the toner is now empty.  Waiting for suppliers to arrive to change the toner. 

 

In the meantime, the MFP won't allow me to scan?  How does that even make sense?

 

Is there a workaroud for this?
