You can probably buy a chip for the toner cart to replace the one in it. But nobody on the Xerox forum will provide those directions/services, the admins would and should delete the details if they were posted for obvious reasons

You cannot until you have a brand new OEM cartridge or a compatible chip for yours. The chip is a little green board and is located outside the cartridge.

It is not enough just to refill the toner. The cartridge need a new chip.
