Re: Unable to scan after switching to win10

You need to post details.

What are the settings in your SMB share, or FTP settings that you set up on the Windows 10 PC?

You would also really help out if you went into CWIS and took a screenshot of the Addressbook entry so we can see how you formatted the scan settings in there.

Due to Windows 10 using SMBv3, you would be more likely by far to get FTP working.

If you are running the Scan Driver, Does Windows show it? Have you set it by IP or the USB?

Unable to scan after switching to win10

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,

I worked on Windows 7 with xerox workcenter 6027

then bought a new computer with windows 10 installed.

installed all the drivers and the faxc and printer works great but the scanner fails on timeout.

I tried reading about it, updating the driver (got the latest one) and nothing . no specific error message just a timout failure.

the printer is connected via USB and ethernet

i can ping the printer : Reply from 192.168.14.121: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64

Please help me fast i work with it on a daily basis and there is no IT or anyone here that can help.

i have tried anything i could think of or found in the web

(BTW when both computers were conneted- i was still able to scan to the old computer, but after turnnig it off i cant scan anything)

Thank you very much
