Unable to scan multi-page document

Product Name: Xerox C505
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

A customer has a VersaLink C505 which prints fine and scans single pages fine. But this customer is tryng to scan a 20 page document and it keeps failing.

The error on the report says: "Completed with an Error (027-520) : File name acquisition failure from SMB server.

The scans go to a UNC path of \\servername\sharename\foldername which is located on a file server on the same subnet as the Xerox. Single page scans go to the same folder with no problem at all.

I've looked up that error code and the only thing I've found is to completely power off the Xerox. Twice it's been powered down, unplugged, plugged back in, powered on. This has made no difference.

So I'm hoping someone here knows how to fix this particular problem.

Install this firmware, change no settings and try again
