Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the information for setting up email.  Also double check your SMTP settings and see if there is an issue there.  If these solutions do not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Unable to scan to email Workcenter 6505DN

GoodMorning

I have not been able to scan to email. No faults on the printer, it goes through reciver and sender address but nothing happens. Looking at configuration, looks like email server setup is a success but email send authentication is states unable to connect. Can it be proxy server setup, I could not find a location where to enter this information. On our 7835, there is a section for proxy server but not in 6505. Your guidance is really appreciated
