The NIC on your PC doesn't support scanning either, why would it?
Your connection to the network doesn't play any part in scanning, your settings on the printer, MFP do. On yours it would be in CWIS exactly in the same area whether it is wired, wireless or connected with a WPSA-100.
CWIS > Address Book > Network Scan > Computer/Server Address Book

I just purchased a wireless adapter for my printer - Xerox WorkCentre 6605DN.
Wireless setup was quick and easy. Printing is fine but I'm not able to scan documents. There is no scanning option for the printer mapped via wireless network.
It seems like wireless adapter doesn't allow scanning. If it is so, it's an useless thing, a waste of money.
Is there anyone here familar with this?
