Re: Using Multiple LDAP setups

Setting Multiple LDAP Servers. Hue enables you to configure multiple LDAP servers by providing the multiple server declaration in /etc/hue/conf/hue.ini Using multiple LDAP servers - Our students are on separate domain. ← Custom auth  We have a single domain setup running on Server 2000.

Using Multiple LDAP setups

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Setting up LDAP to use  on a Xerox Altalink C8145 - Have multiple different Search Roots that we want to use - heirarchy wise they are on the same level under the main domain.

Essentially i have 4 setups, each point to a search root and all are setup and test properly, but I cannot find a way for the machine to actaully use any other LDAP setup except the main Staff one

so i have ou=Staff

ou=Therapists

ou=Coaches

ou=CORE

Staff is the main LDAP setup - when scanning to email i can choose "Network Address Book" and it will allow me to search and i can find anyone in Staff, however if i try to find someone who is ONLY located in CORE (1 user for testing purposes) it will not find them at all - but i can go into the web interface and test the user mapping in each setup and it works okay.

Any idea on how to get it to use more than just the main LDAP setup? I want it to be able to search any of the search roots i have setup OR have a way to swap which one it uses without much of a hassle (example: can change the "server (aka differnet search root)" by doing something easy at the walkup?

Thanks!
