I have never experienced this issue and I'm using a Site-to-Site VPN and an SSL VPN. Have you tried the driver for the machine instead of the global. Another question I would have is did you set it up useing the local TCP/IP or it it going thru a print server?

I am hoping to set up my 4250 to fax via a VPN connection.
I have been able to use the global driver to print without issue via VPN, but when I switch the job type to Fax in the printer properties it seems to be a no go, and does not generate a failure report or anything else, just seems to "hang" for about on hour on processing the job and then flushes it. Any idea what the issue may be?
