Can you share with us the chain links used by the technician since I have the same problem on my c405?
Dear Sirs,
After talking to the technical service, they told me that an on-site technician is needed to configure the fax delay feature. In fact they sent me the following URL: http://www.support.xerox.com/support/versalink-c405/support/enus.html?objGUID=7181
The technician introduced a code in the VersaLink C405 and now the machine wait 30 seconds before a fax will be processed.
I can not understand why this functionality can not be configured by the end user, like in the older Xerox machines.

It has no such feature.
You have the choice of it answering immediately or manually. It is not designed to share a phone line, I don't think Xerox makes any machines that still do that.

How can we configure the delay in the fax response in a VersaLink C405?
We have checked all the options in the control panel and in the web page and we have not found any option where this parameter can be configured.
