I am unable to access the scanner on my Versalink B405. The printer is connected directly to the Windows 7 by USB. I am able to print with no problem,but the scanner software does not seem to install at all. I have tried to install the scanner by the disk,downloading the instealler from the web, and having windows try and find it. I am able to scan to a flash drive so the scanner does appear to be working.
I have purchased Xerox versalink B405 printer. Everytime there is some error, it takes out error report. I want to stop the error report. In a month atleast 100 pages are wasted on this error report. I even contacted the xerox India and they have send their engineers to. But they were also not aware how to stop this. Please help me out on this.
Which ones are printing?
For faxes you have:
All 3 are enabled/configured/disabled via EWS
EWS > Apps > Fax
Then you have a Startup page
EWS > System > Defaults and Policies
I'm pretty sure there is more, but I will await your response since I can't just keep guessing what you are asking for.
I can't imagine how an Engineer would not have access to Xerox.com where this information is stored in the Online support assistant as well as in the documentation (User guide and System admin guide) that come with the device and also is available as a download from Xerox.com
