Versant Press 180 email problem

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you are following all the steps for setting up SMTP.  You will want to make sure your TCP/IP settings are correct:
1. DNS
2. Subnet
3. Gateway

If you are using the hostname of the e-mail server - try the IP address of the SMTP server instead.

Also look at the information on the same code in this forum post, different machine but same solutions apply.

If none of this helps please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Hi there, we have a problem with versant email setup

"Completed with an Error (016-503) : SMTP Server Address Fix Error"

googled all 016-503 errors, don't know whats wrong
