Re: Vertical lines in scanned paper

Vertical lines in the scanned paper can be caused by a few different factors. Here are some possible reasons:

  1. Dust or debris on the scanner glass: If there is dust or debris on the scanner glass, it can cause vertical lines to appear in the scanned image. To fix this issue, try cleaning the scanner glass with a soft cloth and some cleaning solution.

  2. Damaged scanner glass: If the scanner glass is scratched or otherwise damaged, it can cause vertical lines to appear in the scanned image. In this case, you may need to replace the scanner glass.

Re: Vertical lines in scanned paper

Hello Mohamed,

You can try cleaning the scanner glass if you haven't already. Also there is an article with more information on what may help resolve that issue

Thanks,

Vertical lines in scanned paper

Product Name: WorkCentre 6655
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi,

I have my printer scanning images like this, with light discolored vertical lines.

The white areas appear just fine. Any colored areas have these lines.

I'm getting the lines through DADF or through glass. The same exact lines from both

and I can't see any object or dirt that makes these lines

Please can you help me.
