In an attempt to correct an ongoing scan issue, I recently installed a firmware update which I found
has a defect.V 52.005.23 JUL18 2014 should not be used. When installed and attempt is made
to print from a pdf file you may get a message ... you need to install a printer. On occassion this can
be overcome by finding a pdf file which does not produce this message and thereafter go back to the
original pdf which may then work.
The previous firmware was v 52,004,26,000 which did not have this problem.
I am looking for a procedure to remove the defective firmware and then reinstall the non defective one.

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for printing issues with a PDF. See if making the change to print as image will fix your issue. If this does not help to find out about the other firmware please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
