Re: WC 3615 - SMB Scan Error after a few hours of no usage

Hi, Was this ever solved? I have the exact same problem with a 3635

Stated after I installed Windows 7. Was working perfectly with Windows XP.

Is there a fix for this, either from Microsoft or from Xerox???

Thanks

Aurelio

WC 3615 - SMB Scan Error after a few hours of no usage

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We just got the WorkCentre 3615 and we got some issues with our SMB scanning.

Since scanning through the network is the fastest way to scan I've set up the SMB to scan to a network shared folder on a windows 7 ultimate pc.

I've tried setting up the printer to access through SMB the folder without login/password, through port 139 or 445, directly to scan folder or to a subfolder, but I get the same result all the time.

Scanning works after the initial setup, but stops working after a few hours of no usage (usually overnight). It just gives the SMB Scanning Login Error 031-522

Everything is accessible over the network from other computers... After I refresh the settings on the WorkCentre and go through the computer settings again, it starts scanning again for a certain period of time, until later after it starts giving the problem again.
