Hello, I have a problem which I believe is driver related or maybe a faulty unit?
I installed printer and scanning driver with no issues at all. Also everything worked right away, but when I restart a PC I can not use a scanner from a PC anymore. It says the device is turned off or driver is not installed (but I see it in device manager, and everything seems to be in order). The only thing I can do to get the scanner working again is to power off the printer and then turn it back on.
I tried this on 2 different computers with win 7 32bit and windows 10 64bit. I also tried to replace USB cable.
Sometimes it also happens randomly that PC doesn't recognize printer at all, I get an error saying that device can not be recognized. (although drivers were successfully installed before. This happens on win 7 more often than on win 10)
I tried drivers that were provided on a CD and also the latest drivers from your website. Firmware is the latest version aswell.

Since you tried 2 cables, 2 PC's, with 2 operating systems, ruinning 2 architectures, meaning you tried 4 different drivers (Win7, Win 10+ CD, Online) the only thing left is the device being faulty. The only other avenue is power supply, try a different plug, or at least be sure the PC and printer are not sharing a powerbar.
Thank you, seems like a printer is faulty, I have contacted a local seller to send it for a warranty inspection / repair.
