Re: WC 7232 Scan to email problem

JCarlye,

Double check the authentication on the machine. Are you going thru a relay server?

Thank you,
Jordan

WC 7232 Scan to email problem

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi

Just about at my wits end with this issue.

We have various Xerox printers on a school network and scan to email is setup on them. One of the printers can send to both the internal network and the external network via email. I have tried this on the 7232 and it can email to the internal network but I get an error 016-767 Invaild E-Mail Address when I try to send to an external email address eg xxx@gmail.com.

I have compared the working printer to the 7232 and the only difference is that users have to logon to the working printer.

I have hecked and confirmed that the network switch port is setup correctly and we have allowed the email we have on the printer top work through our web filtering software.

Any ideas or pointers would be most welcome.

Cheers

Jimmy
