Re: WC 7545 Email Button Greyed Out

in order to get email working , you only have to setup 2 things

i read you already configured the smtp server, but did you also configure the default from: address ?

Re: WC 7545 Email Button Greyed Out

I have this problem on one WC 7556, firmware 061.120.221.20901 and on two WC 7530s, firmware 061.120.200.35300. I have verified that I can send a test mail from the web interface og the 7556, but the e-mail button remains stubbornly grey.

I tried switching language on the 7556, from Norwegian to English. It made no difference. As we have other WC 7556 and other WC 7530 on the same firmware level and in the same network that works just fine, I am completely out of ideas.

Help...?

WC 7545 Email Button Greyed Out

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a new WorkCenter 7545 and the Email button is greyed out. You press it and the message is the “service is currently not available”.

I have set all the requirements for the SMTP server (tested and verified) and all the options for emailing. I have tried turning it on and off in the services registration page. Even made sure it’s unlocked in the Securities tools and Features Access settings.

Any other thoughts? Is there a list of items that is required to have the button active, so I can check to make sure they are all correctly set?

Thanks

Wayne
