It did work exactly in the way you wrote. There was a corrupted file in the print spooler of my win8 client and I was not aware of this. If you do not open the printer window, you will not be able to see the file. The print manager tries to fulfill his job, but the print is not able to process the print data. So the file remains in the queue and sends the printer in the condition described. Its so easy, that I was ashamed - but in my phantasy I was calculation the price for a new network assy - frustrating! Anyway, you hit the point and I was really happy that night - so thank you very much again!! Best regards from Germany, Kapinski

I'm going to agree with Fabio - I have seen this on different models but with the same issue. Go around to all your computers that print to it and make sure NOTHING is in the print ques. Also make sure you have the correct driver for that device.

maybe a corrupted spool file in the queue that tries to print when you connect the cable?

WC 7765 network problems

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Our WC 7765 don't like to be connected via Ethernet any more. When the printer is connected with LAN cable to the switch, the system will hang up and reports "Device is not available".  Disconnection the cable does not solve the problem. Access via web interface is not possible. After switching the system on and off (or after log in and off in Admin mode), everything looks nice until the LAN cable ist connected again.

In Admin mide, the "Fault History" report following fault codes:

303-331-00  Communication fault with NC.(lots of)

303-378-00  Unknown fault

302-321-00  XEIP browser does not respond or is dead.

320-331-00  No comms via PSTN1 port

320-303-00  Fax Card Hardware or Software error.

322-721-00  Triple A gets no response from SRS

I just bought the 7765 as a used system and don't have any serive contract with Xerox. I am a technician, but I don't have any experience with Xerox.

Any idea how to held myself! Would appriciate any advice!!
