The Firmware level on your device should be updated.

I have a XEROX® WorkCentre® 7835
System Software Version: 073.010.075.34540
and it not sending email using office 365 mail, but when using other email provider is working fine.
I suspect that is it due to the enetyption layer (TLS version) but I could not find any option from the administratoin portal
