Gmail works just fine with :

 

smtp.gmail.com:587, SSL/TLS

Of course you need the latest firmware installed <SSL error>, and proper DNS<Hostname failure>, and the time needs to be within 3 minutes of correct <Server unavailable or login failure>

WC7775 scan to mail, SSL issue (very tired trying)

hello there!
i have spent whole week trying to configure it without success, i have a smtp external server but it seems the machine doesnt supports SSL encryption tough smtp login credentials...

same setup on a konica minolta machine work fine, but the same settings on a xerox wc7775 always fail... konica machine have a setup option "use SSL" and WC not :(
anyone know about a 100% guarantee smtp server to link with the copier? also a "how to" pdf?
