Hey!
yes, you are changing the settings for scanning in the scan template in centreware, unfortunaly I'm not sure the contrast can be changed there.
Thanks!

ok, I have tried that solution and it does help change the setting for copying, so thank you for that help.
I now/also am trying to change those image adjustments for for scan > email....but can't seem to figure out a permanent solution, only temporary for each user/session and then defaults back after a minute.
So far I was able to use my CetreWare software to up the resolution from 300 x 300 to 400 x 400 so that is helping. I know the file size will be larger but my users are okay with that - and of course more toner. :)
If you don't think that I can permantly change the contrast, sharpness, and darkness for scan to email that is okay and we can live with what we have....And I will select "Accept as Solution" because you really helped with part of my problem/issue.
Uping the Rez helped a bit so we're happy. And I changed the copy (feature defaults - a couple minor image changes).:smileyhappy:
I have cleaned the outside & inside of machine including the
Charge Scorotron, Transfer Corotron, and Xerographic Module which has also helped image quality
thanks!!

I have a WCP245 that I want to permanently change the darkness/lightness, contrast, and sharpness.
I know how to change these settings but unfortunately it always defualts back to the original settings.
I guess what I am trying to do is change the image default settings for copying/emailing/scanning/printing so that it is permanent for every user.
I am a Xerox Docucare person and can log in as Admin or even Xerox Service Tech but I have looked all over in every setting/option and can't seem to find where to go or change.
thanks for any help you can provide.:smileytongue:
