You could just lock down scanning to anyone who is not logged into the copier. (You would need to create accounts for them to do so, and of course change the admin credentials so that nobody could just use that account, which in turn would mean you are the only one who can troubleshoot the device as admin.)

You cannot lock down what templates appear though

 thanks for the quick answer. but what I try to do is to enable 3 users to scan to a new sharing folder (SCANNER_HR)

can we hide template for non logged users (GUEST) ? and how to add a template in the list of these 3 users ?

any differents ideas ?

It would seem you are referring to Scan to Home, but they won't get to choose their individual folder, that would have to be done on the LDAP server, it would be a scan that goes to their accounts Home Directory.

So you would enable Scan to home via CWIS > Properties > Services > Scan To Home > General

So then when the user logs into the copier, they can select Scan2Home template which will do a scan to their home directory, The Home directory is defined by the LDAP server, and you can see it on the copiers webui by searching within LDAP (highlighted) and it will show the directory on the page (circled)

we have a DEFAULT scanning template which is working fine. LDAP is working fine.

Now, some users want to scan to a particular sharing folder. My question is the following:

How can we configure to display only some templates depending on the user logged on the device?

USER1 logged -> DEFAULT

                         -> SCANNER_HR

USER2 logged -> DEFAULT

                         -> SCANNER_ACCOUNTANT

...

GUEST -> DEFAULT
