Hi,
Scan to email - I could not find a proper confirmation document that would confirm if the device supports SSL or not. But assuming by the date when the model was release my first anwser would be that it does not do it. Additionally I know that the in/outgoing smtp ports have quite limited capabilities. Suggestion would be to use Stunnel to wrap the information into a secure channel.
Scan to PC - This feature is supported on the Copy/printer model. I believe this would have been sold as an additional feature. It required the Scan To PC Desktop bundle, at the time could have been versions 9.x. This bundle includes Licenses, PaperPort, OmniPage and Image retriever.
Do you have any suggestions on the Scan to PC? I have not (nor have 2 IT guys) been able to get this to work.
Did you ever figure out how to get around the SSL? I have discovered the same problem.
if the machine complets the mail , the mail is probaly flushed by an antispam server or something... check you network first..
Up,
That OK !!!! , right so , but, where I found an oder soft for this machine , now same one ?????
Fabio, you may want to check on your side but I believe this machine does not support SSL SMTP Authentication. Also, if your e-mail server is not using port 25 you cannot do it as you cannot change the port number.
maybe the attachment is lost because of a antispam server or something?
mfp = multifucntional , add the ip adres of your machine to the relay of your mail server
