Hi timlee126.
Thank you for using the forum. I see that you are having an issue with scanning two sided. I was checking the paper weights to see if that could be causing your issue since the auto feeder is used during scanning.
These are the specs for printing and I would think that when scanning the paper weight would be similar.
- Paper weights from 75 g/m² through 256 g/m² can be used for automatic 2-sided printing.
The notebook paper might be too thin and could be why it jams when moving through the autofeeder.

I am using Xerox WorkCentre 7830 to scan the pages of my small notebook.
each page of the notebook is about 85 mm (3.3 inch) in width and 155 mm (6.1 inch) in height
I specify in custom scan area to be 3.3 inch for X and 6.1 inch for Y.
I have using a paper cutter to remove the bindings of the notebook, and feed the pages into the document feeder of Xerox WorkCentre 7830.
But with 2-sided scan, every time the first page jams the document feeder in the mid way.
With 1-sided scan, there are less jams, but still jams.
I wonder how I can to scan both sides of the pages of my notebook?
Thanks.
