I have a 7132 on a network with, primarily, 4 users using it. All of them use it to print and used to use it scan. Recently 2 of the 4 users have found they can no longer use it as a scanner. I've checked and while the machine is recognized it is not recognized as a scanner, only as a printer.
I've found two drivers on the site but neither one of them seems to include a twain driver. There is a generic 'Xerox Network Scanners' driver available via Windows (XP Pro - by the way) but it doesn't seem to work.
I don't know what has changed since nothing has been done to the Xerox or to the network.
Can anyone point me to a working driver or failing that, does anyone have any ideas?
The users were using Twain, I believe. The two who have lost functionality are still able to scan from the Xerox to mailbox and import the image into whatever app.
I've taken a good look at the different scan options and I didn't see a Scan to PC option - I assume that would be where the user scans at the machine and it automatically appears and/or is saved on the computer?
Please could you explain how to set that up?
