my campany buys an office machine xerox of work centre 255 during copppy the document it copy blank pages or sheet

there is no code error display on the control panel .

would you mind to help me to solve the problems

I called Xerox and found out that 13.60.22.50 is not the latest firmware. I got the latest and will apply it to the Machine, do a test and report back.

Port 139 is being used for SMB on the Xerox.

We have a Xerox WorkCentre 245 Pro and trying to setup SMB network scanning on a Server 2008 R2 box.

When scanning to the network share from the Xerox, I get a Remote Directory Lock failed error on the confirmation sheet. There is no .lck file in the directory.

The server local user has full rights to the Share and NTFS rights to the folder. Username/password are correct.

The Xerox is on the latest update (13.60.22.50) and I applied the LLWCP2xx.60.22V1.dlm patch from: http://www.xerox.ca/office/scanning-software-patch/enca.html.

First I tried with SMB2 enabled and SMB1 disabled on the Server; then SMB1 enabled and SMB2 disabled, then both SMB1 and SMB2 enabled. Not sure what else to try.

Can anyone confirm the 245 pro Network scanning compatability with Server 2008 R2 (and what SMB version should be enabled on the Server)?
