You appear to be asking Cheryl about my post, not hers.
The 3335 does not, according to the documentation on the models, do 2:1 or 2:2 scan/copy
Sorry Cheryl,
Could you clarify, do you mean to say that the Workcentre 3335 does not come with a duplex document feeder as standard?
We have just purchased one and no where was this indicated. And yet, I can't seem to get the thing to copy or scan duplex.
In 2017 I would expect this to be a basic feature of any device with the other features of thr 3335, I mean who would not want to have that function?
Can the document feedder be repleaced with a duplex one, or is the machine an oversized paperweight?
Laurie
I don't know why the pages on this are all so un-clear, but here is the simplest way to state it.
The 3335 does single sided scans only, there is no 2 sided option.
The 3345 does duplex scanning, there is no single sided only option.
The oddest thing is Xerox typical denotes single sided as having an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) and duplex capable is termed as a DADF (Duplex Automatic Document Feeder.
But with this model they use ADF and RADF (Reversing Automatic Document Feeder)
The tell all, is at the bottom of page 3 here
left of the : is originals, right of the : is output
1:1 is single to single
1:2 is single to duplex
2:1 is duplex to single
2:2 is duplex to duplex
And the 2:X is only on the RADF which is only on the 3335
So the shortest possible answer is to buy the 3345 if possible or you won't get the feature.
Hi Chery thanks for the answer, i already not purchase the printer, i like to know how much cost the Duplex Document Feeder for the WorkCentre 3335, because, any place says coming whit this.
i check this page and not see
i like to know the simple answer of, The workcentre 3335 come with Duplex Document Feeder.????
If yes i can purchase the machine, and if not coming with the Duplex Document feeder, where i can see how much cost.
If yo can givme the link or maybe the Part number of the Duplex Document Feeder , so i can search o internet.
Sorry about all the questions, but the information on Xerox webpage its not complete.
Thanks
Hi LeandroA,
The WorkCentre 3335 would need the to have a duplex document feeder to do two sided scanning. From the user guide:
2-Sided Scanning scans both sides of the original document.
Note: 2-Sided Scanning is only available on devices that have a duplex document feeder.
If your machines do not have the Duplex Document Feeder then you need to order one or only do one sided scans. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Thanks for answer.
If i have 3 papers (6 pages), printed in the 2 sides of paper, and i put on the ADF.
I can configure the printer to scan the 6 pages from the ADF automatic, or i need to firs scan the side 1 of paper and after scan side 2 and merge manualy???
I need to know this to purchase the printer.
The question is because this model have ADF, and the 3345 have Reversing Automatic Document Feeder. i think th 3345 make in one step the scan of 2 sides of paper, but in any place tell if the 3335 can scan 2 side papers automatic from ADF.
Thanks
PD, in the manual says "2-Sided Scanning is only available on devices that have a duplex document feeder."
But none of 3335 or 3345 says Duplex document feeder
Hi leandroA,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. You do not mention what type of scan you are doing, but yes you should be able to scan a two sided document but you have to indicate that in the set up for the scan before you scan the document. See the instructions for scanning to the PC. If these instructions do not help please consider contacting your local support centre.
Hi i like to know if the WorkCentre 3335, scan from ADF two sides paper, or if i have a paper print in the 2 sides, i need to scan one time each side.
Thanks
