Re: WorkCentre 3550 Front USB Port Scanning

Does the USB key light up showing it is being read? It could be a failed port on the printer.

Is the scan to USB menu available in Machine Status > Scan Defaults > USB defaults ?

Any chance the drives are all formatted as NTFS instead of FAT16/FAT32 ?

WorkCentre 3550 Front USB Port Scanning

Product Name: WorkCentre 3550

Hi Folks,

We have a WorkCentre 3550, recently the front USB port stopped working when trying to do a SCAN.  We have tried several USB drives but no luck.   It use to work.   I did do a power cycle, and check Centreware Front USB Port settings but now luck.

What else should I do?

Displayed on the LCD when a USB thumb drive is inserted: INSERT USB MEMORY IN FRONT USB SLOT

Thanks
