Hello,

This works-log into machine as admin----Tools-----scroll down to Software reset-choose both interfaces, it will not erase anything but cleas the buffers that are full.

Please take a look at the solutions for slow scanning.  Also take a look at the solutions for scanning stuck in processing and see if any of these soluitons will help in your situation.  If not then please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

WorkCentre 5655 scan to email issue

I'm hoping someone can assist with this issue:  We have several 5655s.  On one of them, we've recently noticed that when scanning to email that the "transfer" function is remaining on the display longer than then other machines, and longer than it was doing a month ago.

 

In other words, when we scan a document to email, the display reads Scan>Process>Transfer.  The scan and process functions are done quickly.  It's when it reaches the transfer that the slowness occurs.  This happens regardless of the size of the file.  Very often the file has already been delivered to the user's inbox but "transfer" still appears on the display.

 

This wouldn't be much of a problem except that it slows down job input when the operator has several jobs to scan.  They have to wait for the "transfer" to clear from the display before beginning a new job.  Anyone have an idea what this might be?  I'm sure I haven't provided enough information so please let me know what you need.  I did searches but didn't find anything on this issue.
