Hi Eastharbor,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure that you are changing the setting in the copy defaults not just on the screen. Here is the solution from the support pages for your machine.

Hello, My WorkCentre 6505 keeps defaulting to 125%, and I would like for it to stay at 100%. Any suggestions?
