As I stated down below, for me it was specifically a mechanical issue. There was a tiny little sliver of paper caught in the document feeder under the glass. I don't think it was able to flip the paper around to scan the other side because of that. Check all areas around the feeder careully
Also I have error 065-225 on WorkCentre 6515DN when I want to scan or copy 2-sided originals from paper tray.
When I select only 1side scan or copy original from paper tray, all goes well.
While selecting 2-sided scan, I hear the IIT moving and immidiatly it retuns fault with Code (065-225)..
Instructions shown I shound change the DAFD but I beleive the scanner in IIT does not move enough the most left position under the CVT glas.
Scanning of original on the IIT glas-bed gives no problem.
Has anyone had similar problem and found a solution?
I am getting the same issue on my 6515 from 2019.
Seems like Xerox had a bad batch of boards...
I tried cleaning it - I saw a tiny piece of white at one corner of the glass, I grabbed it with a fingernail and pulled it out - a tiny piece had torn off of a page and was jammed under the metal edge around the glass. After I restarted the printer, the error code cleared away.
I've got the same issue. Won't print double sided anymore and cannot use the feeder. Has anyone been able to find the part needed? You would think Xerox would be all over this.
