I'm running a WorkCentre 6605 DN on a home network and haven't been able to get the scanner to do network scanning in ages.
When scanning to my network PC, the printer scans the document but then returns an error message:
"031-531:Unable to get file/folder name on SMB server. Please check the SMB server settings..."
These are my scanning settings for the PC I'm using:
I'm running a Windows 7 PC and file sharing has been turned on for the "Scanning" folder found on my desktop. There are no subfolders for that folder.
Not sure where to start. Any tips would be appreciated.
