Maybe try checking that all the fax settings are setup correctly. Is there an answering machine in line with the 6605? That can really disrupt receiving a fax.

Download the WorkCentre 6605 User Guide and navigate to "Configuring Fax Defaults and Settings" on page 70 of the pdf. There could be the slightest setting that is causing the error code.
thank you for your reply. Yes, we unplugged power cable for minutes but whwen we plugged it in again and turned on the machine after a few minutes error code appears...
we just tried a new WorkCentre 6605. Everything's ok with the exception of fax.
It currently works, but it always gives error 035-718 Timeout T1 as it's receiving a fax and we have always to cancel the "receiving fax". We printed Fax Activity Report and it seems that every second it receives pulses from line.
Support callcenter tells us that we have to cycle power on machine... We made it many times with no result. We also have upgraded with latest firmware. What we would like to know is where the problem really come from, if it's the WorkCentre itself and some settings that we can adjust.
