WorkCentre 7120 Document Feeder not working

Product Name: WorkCentre 7120/7125
Operating System: Windows 11

The document feeder on my WorkCentre 7120 doesn't do anything when copying or scanning. Paper is not drawn and the green light on it that I see in videos isn't on; no sign of any activity. When copying, the printer simply prints out a copy of the nonexistent paper on the document glass. 

In addition, the machine does identify a fault, this being it doesn't recognize the feeder cover being closed despite it being so. The cover is also unable to stand up on its own when opened without manually holding it up. Could this be related to the feeder not drawing in paper? 

What could be causing this issue? I'm completely new to using this so any help is appreciated.

Hi Plank20,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at this article for reseating the Automatic Document feeder. If reseating the the feeder does not clear the issue it may be a hardware problem and require a technician.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
