yes, the layout is quite hard to understand
what i have done in the past ...
create one user manually on the machine, then export it from the internet cws page
then you have the correct layout and you can start adding lines
tip : dont use excel, just notepad, because excel adds hidden characters, making the csv unusable
Update:
I have managed to pinpoint exactly where it is giving me issues with the CSV. The Password field does not accept what I have entered. Is this field meant to have the Printer account or Active Directory account?
I would assume an AD account as it would use this to authenticate the printers access to the directory it wishes to scan too.
I still hope that there is another tool that will allow me to update the Address Book more easily.

Hi Guys,
I am going mad thanks to my WC 7132, which seems to lack some some ease of admin. I am a remote admin for my printer, so I do not have the luxery of setting up SMB addresses for me users at the machines console. This means I have to do this job via the Server and then Via the Machines Internet Services, but to no luck.
I have followed a number of guides that have been explained to me on this forum and other sources and none of them seem to work. The best guide I have found thus far is here:
http://download.support.xerox.com/pub/docs/XRIP_4110_Base/userdocs/any-os/en/ScanSaveNetwork.pdf
The problem it does not matter what I do and the sort of care I take to edit the exported CSV file, it will never process the modified csv when I am trying to import it again. This process is already so painful, where most of Xerox competitors allow you to edit the address book directly on the WebAdmin page.
Please tell me that I am missing some nice little admin tool that helps making this task a breeze.
Regards,
Stuart
